In the project for the systemization and asphalting of the roads of Gërdec village, numerous works have been carried out to ensure a stable and functional road infrastructure. Works include:
Scarification of the existing layer: Scarification of the existing road surface was carried out to prepare the ground for new works.
Gravel filling and compaction: Gravel filling and compaction was carried out to create a solid base.
Profiling with stabilizer: Stabilizer was applied to improve surface stability.
Relocation of low voltage poles: The relocation of low voltage poles was carried out to provide space for road construction.
Low voltage line dismantling: The existing low voltage line was dismantled to facilitate the works.
Block wall demolition: Block wall demolition was done to optimize spaces and infrastructure.
Binder layer (6 cm): A 6 cm thick layer of binder was placed to provide good support for further layers.
Spraying with bitumen emulsion: Spraying with bitumen emulsion was carried out to guarantee the bond between the layers.
Asphalt concrete layer (4 cm): A 4 cm thick asphalt concrete layer was placed to provide a stable and safe surface for vehicular traffic.
Excavation and side channels: Excavation of forced sections and creation of side channels for water management was carried out.
Supply and installation of reinforced concrete pipes (d=800 mm): The supply and installation of reinforced concrete pipes for the drainage system was carried out.
M-200 concrete for portals and retaining walls: M-200 concrete was used for the construction of portals and retaining walls, guaranteeing high durability and safety.
Filling with natural gravel: Filling with natural gravel was carried out for the creation of jetties, to improve the aesthetics and functionality of the road.
Excavation of the soil: Excavation of the soil was carried out for the forced section in the presence of water, as well as the excavation of rocks with a depth of up to 1.5 m.
Concrete for bridges: M-200 and M-300 concrete was used for the construction of the bridge structure, ensuring high stability.
Supply and placement of iron: The supply and placement of periodic iron with different diameters for strengthening the structure was carried out.
Filling with material: The spaces needed for the stability of the bridge were filled.
Monolithic slabs: The monolithic slabs was built with M-300 concrete and formwork, guaranteeing a solid base.
Waterproofing: Waterproofing was applied with 2 layers of bituminous membrane and 3d bitumen for moisture protection.
M-200 concrete layer: An M-200 concrete layer was placed for the pavement, making it durable and safe.
Asphalt concrete layer (5 cm): A 5 cm thick layer of asphalt concrete was laid, including emulsion spraying for bonding and surface protection.
Excavation T/Z forced section: Excavation of the surface for the construction of drainage channels was carried out.
Supply and installation of concrete pipes (d=400 mm): Supply and installation of concrete pipes with a diameter of 400 mm for water collection was carried out.
Gravel filling: The filling of the spaces was carried out to guarantee the stability of the drainage system.
Construction of rain wells: Rain wells were built with M-200 concrete and 40x70 cm cast iron pipes for surface water management.
M-250 concrete layer for gutters: An M-250 concrete layer for gutters was placed, guaranteeing durability.
Excavation T/Z: Excavation of the surface for pavement construction was carried out.
Gravel filling and compaction: Gravel filling and compaction was carried out to create a solid base.
Curb Supply and Placement: M-200 precast concrete curb was used to limit the pavement, which was fixed with M-150 concrete.
Concrete for the external curb: M-200 concrete was used for the monolithic external curb, guaranteeing durability.
M-150 concrete and granulated layer: A layer of M-150 concrete and a 6 cm granulated layer were placed under the slabs.
Colored concrete for the pavement: The supply and placement of 6 cm colored concrete for the aesthetics of the pavement was carried out.
Saplings and PVC pipes: Saplings and PVC pipes (d=110 mm) for telecommunications were supplied and installed.
