Reconstruction of the cemetery road

Project overview

Within the project for the reconstruction of Cemetery Street, a series of works necessary to improve its infrastructure and functionality along its entire length of 730 m have been carried out. Works include:

1- Demolition works:

  • Demolition of existing concrete and brick structures to prepare surfaces for new works.
  • Removal of existing gutters for the arrangement of spaces.
  • Relocating power lines and poles to facilitate new construction.

2- Excavation and filling works:

  • Excavation of the soil for the creation of the base of the road.
  • Filling with gravel or stone material for the body of the macadam road, ensuring proper stability.

3- Supply and installation of pipes:

  • Excavation and construction of channels for the pipes, including the layer of gravel under the pipes and M-100 concrete.
  • Supply and placement of reinforced concrete pipes with a diameter of 600 mm, as well as filling with gravel material.

4- Concrete works on roads and bridges:

  • Excavation of soil for concrete walls and channels.
  • Use of M-150 concrete for manholes and M-200 concrete for bridge parapet channels.
  • Supply and placement of concrete rebar for bridge footings and railings, as well as gravel layers under the concrete channel.

5- Road paving works:

  • Creating a 10 cm stabilizing layer, improving the road with two layers of gravel 15 cm each.
  • Asphalt concrete layer with a thickness of 4 cm, providing a stable and functional surface.
