Reconstruction of the building 26 in the Student City

Project overview

Within the project for the reconstruction of Building no. 26, a series of necessary works have been carried out to improve its structure and functionality. Works include:

1. Demolition works:

• Demolition of majolica tiles, to prepare the surfaces for the new materials.
• Demolition of internal and external plastering, creating a clean base for further reconstruction.
• Demolition of balcony railings.
• Demolition of the base of the stairs, so that it can be replaced with a more durable material.
• Removal of existing doors and windows.
• Demolition of paving slabs, to reshape spaces according to new standards.
• Removal of the existing paint on the facades, to enable a new and modern application.
• Damage to xingato pipes.

2. Plastering works:

• Covering the walls with majolica tiles.
• Plaster dressing.
• Plastering of walls and ceilings.
• External plastering to protect the structure from external factors.
• Repair of window sills.
• Patination of the walls.
• Painting with oil paint for wall surfaces.
• Painting with lime mortar.
• Painting with oil paint for metal surfaces, guaranteeing protection from corrosion.
• Painting with plastic paint for internal surfaces.
• Painting with hydro mats, for a smooth and moisture-resistant surface.

3. Layer works:

•  Paving with stoneware tiles in the corridor.
• Laying with pavement tiles.
• 1:2 mortar layer, providing a solid base.
• Concrete layer for sidewalks with a thickness of 10 cm.
• Supply and installation of marble window sills.
• Supply and placement of the wooden strip in the corridors.
• Supply and installation of the ceramic plinth.
• Marble staircase plinths.
• Supply and installation of parapets for balconies and stairs.

4. Door and window works:

• Supply and installation of duralumin windows.
• Supply and installation of duralumin flags.
• Supply and installation of doors for rooms.

5. Terrace works:

• Demolition of the existing waterproofing, to enable a new application.
• Waterproofing with two layers of 4 mm bituminous membrane.
• 1:2 mortar layer with a thickness of 3 cm.
• Supply and installation of parapets.
• Supply and installation of gutters.

6. Hydro sanitary works:

• Supply and placement of various materials, including plastic pipe with different diameters (20, 25, 32, 160, 50, 40, 100 mm).
• Elbows with different diameters (32, 20, 50 mm).
• Reductions (32/25, 25/20, 100160, 10050, 50*32), toilet sleeves 25 mm, junto 20 mm, and rolling shutter with different diameters (32, 20 mm).
• Supply and installation of facades with different diameters (25, 20, 50 mm).
• Sink with column and group, lighting, toilet mirror with lighting.
